I haven't seen any of the best picture nominees that released last year (tho I hope to change that in the next month or so), so I don't have a dog in the fight. That #Anora won Best Pic seems to be bothering some folks. I thought it was just #EmiliaPerez lots of folks wanted to lose but I guess not?

I'm not a fan of #EmiliaPerez, but I would have liked if Karla Sofía Gascón had won. Giving this award to a trans woman would have sent a strong political message. Instead, trans people were not mentioned at all in the acceptance speeches for the film. Sad.
