Can’t you change that when you become king?” “I’m not going to be king. If Touya doesn’t come back, Natsuo’s next in line.” “Then why does it matter who you marry?” Shouto shrugs. Fuyumi tried to explain it once but he still doesn’t really understand the politics of it all. “I wish you could be my princess,” Shouto says. He’s half joking but if he has to spend the rest of his life with one person, he wants it to be Katsuki. Katsuki glares at him. “I’ll be a damn warrior king. That's better than any dumb princess.” As children, Shouto and Katsuki dream about the world they'll make together. Maybe one day it will be a reality.

Under a Curtain of Stars by AdventureOfTheDancingGirl The stars are falling like snowflakes again. Shouto plucks one from the air then takes a step forward to place it in Katsuki’s palm. It’s an odd sensation - the flickering warmth of the flame within seeping through the chill of the smooth, unmelting ice. If it’s an illusion, it’s a damn good one.
