Sonic: Lock & Load works in UZDoom!!
Not only that, it works pretty damn well
And FIIINALLY I don't have to rely on a bloody AUR package or Flatpak sandboxing rubbish
I had to manually set a screenshot directory though

systemd-appd Is A New Component Being Planned By Flatpak Developers
Given this week's release of Flatpak 1.17 for app sandboxing, open-source developer Sebastian Wick published a blog post on Tuesday around the latest Flatpak developments and a look ahead at some of the feature development planned. Arguably most significant of that is the plans for systemd-appd...

Flatpak had been in a bit of a lull in development, but anyone who has worked in dev understands that can happen. While I still prefer native 1st, there is no doubt that systems like Flatpak are a big part of the Linux desktop now, like it or not. #Linux #FOSS

flatpak upgrade
Public service announcement for Linux #SecondLife users running Firestorm in a flatpak.
For a free 17% FPS boost - Go to www.firestormviewer.org , download the viewer, unzip, run included install script. Run viewer.
That's the same as going from a 5070ti to a 5080.

Nice to meet you here. 😀
I have upgraded Ubuntu from 25.04 to 25.10.
Yes, I need to manually install the new default video player Showtime. I'm happy its latest version, 49, is available as a DEB package in Apt manager. No need to use Flatpak.

so, Plexamp (the standalone music player for Plex servers) has a Linux flatpak version. ...it does need configuring (otherwise it doesn't even have window controls 😖), but I am now happily listening to my library on full shuffle.
...Where in the actual fuck does Plex get this artist info.

Once ring racers 2.4 gets a flatpak version, I'd like to hold another session in my discord server. You should join it if you may be interested in playing with us

den Pfad hast du ja jetzt schon gefunden, ansonsten kannst du auch die Bottle CLI nutzen um eine Datei zu öffnen und/oder eine .desktop-Datei dafür erstellen
du hast über Flatpak installiert oder?

I’m pissed!! after some distro hopping with Ubuntu and Debian it did feel as good as fedora
The closest alternative I could find was openSUSE and it’s pretty damn close to fedora.
-uses RPM
-rolling release in tumbleweed
-flatpak preinstalled
Aside from nvidia was able to get set up again easily!

I wrote talk-it-out in python just because that's where faster-whisper was, and the thing was done in no time. packaging has been a cast-iron asshole because I can't use flatpak (need /dev access, need wl-clipboard)

All the workstations and laptops I use are just rock solid too. I iron out whatever I want like once and it just works forever in a very clean way. I’ve got the common config such that you would never rly need to know it was NixOS with nix-ld, flatpak, appimage-run.
