Feeling so lucky I could see both of my sons' Christmas shows: Wriggly Nativity & The Inn-Spectors! 🐛🔍 Primary teachers are heroes for pulling off such amazing shows with little ones.

I considered leaving teaching to get this flexibility. I'm so grateful I got to be there.

Antonia already recommends anyone seeking #flexibleworking to speak to the headteacher before putting in a request. She also warns leaders against trying to ask the requester to solve how the flexibility will be managed within the school. This is a collective responsibility. 🍎🎓

Would love to think this would continue in a post-Covid world but suspect old cultural work habits die hard. A mix of remote working & face2face works best here. Losing the 3 hours/day commute (just 17 miles!) was a game changer #FlexibleWorking #Equality...
