#foundationalmodels
One of the best topics we’ve ever featured in the #data-centric #ai webinar series, with implications for #adoption of #foundationalmodels, #RAI practices, #AI #regulation, and the #data #ecosystem for #AI.
Last Chance to Register! Free Webinar: Data-Centric AI #8. Wed 19 March. Join us for an exclusive conversation with Pierre-Carl Langlais, co-founder of Pleias, and Elena Simperl, as they discuss how small, optimized LLMs can be designed for regulated industries. theodi.org/news-and-eve...

I am hiring another postdoc for my lab. Consider applying if you have #foundationalmodels, #robotics, or #reinforcementlearning skills. You will help create generalist real-world agents (robots) with a team of 20 working on these problems and overly competitive go-karting.

Apply below.

Turns out the way we usually pre-train foundational cell models adds very little information to the system - definitely not enough to make drug effect predictions work. Not what I've expected.

Tech can be crazy in many ways. Today I was coding/training #transformers in the #cloud while being in the clouds. Stay tuned for my #foundationalModels for #robotics homeworks.

I am teaching a class on #FoundationalModels for #robotics and Scaling #DeepRL algorithms. This class expands on last year's class and my generalist robotics policies tutorial and code. I plan to share the lectures and code assignments. Starting with the first lectures below.

My next set of lectures on #foundationalmodels for #robotics has been posted. These lectures cover learning models, using foundational models to compute rewards and #scalingdatacollection for #robots.

Here is the lecture on using foundational models for computing rewards.

Using FoundationalModels and Generable (which is a legitimately slick API) to create suggested categories for text is neat.

It’s kinda like a non-deterministic data detector
