Y'all want to meet the new plants, right? I knew it. OKAY, SO, first up we have a foxtail fern, a variegated plectranthus ciliatus, a solid light green plectranthus ciliatus, and a swiss cheese pothos.

Poor Monty had surgery this morning. A foxtail barley seedhead got embedded in his foot and migrated up to his wrist. It really hurt him! Foxtail barley is always good to get rid of if it's growing in your garden or along your sidewalk.

Tall and fluffy, Foxtail palms (Wodyetia bifurcata) anchor a rear corner of our lot. The species was unknown to Western culture until indigenous Australians pointed them out to botanists in Queensland's remote Cape Melville National Park in the 1970s.
