It's pretty darn sauce heavy, and while it's probably my fault for not mixing the pickled veg properly with the rest of the bowl, the pricing is a bit steep for a $9.9 bowl of beef and rice. With that said though, I think they've put in more meat in their bowls compared to when I last visited in January, so I guess that's a marginal net positive in terms of value proposition. Even with a possible "downtown tax" in mind, the fact that you get the amount you get for the price says a lot when you consider the offerings in shopping mall food courts, and especially the takeout restaurants in the Calgary +15 network. My personal thoughts: Although visually similar to sushi, appearance is where the similarity ends. I'd compare it more to eating a hot dog where the bun is made of some rather dense grains of rice, and most of the flavour is carried by the pickled carrots and other veg that I'm p sure consists of radish and I think some variation of cabbage leaves? If I'm to compare it with other forms of fast food, I'd pick the Gimbap over other takeout, but Kinjo Sushi's futomaki rolls seem to be competing in the same space as gimbap, and i'd rather Kinjo's spicy beef rolls than the Korean hot dog in rice.

Accompanying her food is a can of Crazy Uncle Orange Cream Soda My personal thoughts on both: While admittedly pretty pricey, the sandwich had a reasonable serving of lamb kabob, and I can always appreciate the texture of hand-beaten egg patty. Tzatziki was an appropriate choice for sandwich spear, and the light drizzle of srirachup was a welcome surprise. However, I think most of the cost of the sammich came from the Japanese milk bun, and i'm unsure if it was the best choice of bread for it, since the texture difference made a superficial impact. As for the drink, it's an orange cream soda, and there was barely any alcohol taste at all, to the point where I only really noticed the alcohol part when I was getting drunk off of it.

While the soup itself is fairly chunky, it was overly salted, and the rice i threw in at the bottom didn't really help to mitigate it at all. I also found out that i'm not a fan of basmati rice either, since it seemed like the type of rice that'd be tough to chew even if you added the right amount of water, which Co-op's staff didn't. In any case, it's not worth $7.

Wanted to compare my phone against a camera I got as a stopgap towards a real camera I likely will never afford
Fumo plush of Aya Shameimaru with an order of one half of an imitation crab futomaki roll, and the other half being spicy beef Relative to the amount of rice in the roll, the filling in both halves are particularly generous, and the beef is flavourful enough to make up for being well done. Futomaki purchased from Kinjo Sushi and Grill, Calgary, AB, Canada Taken with an Ulefone Armor 22 Photo taken with some $11 camera from Amazon. I think this camera seems to work better on human subjects, but that's a job for my other account But to go back on topic, I feel like these rolls are supposed to be "gimbap, Japan"
