linux has never been better, and is also getting better with each update. there are still some things windows is irreplaceable for - mostly some games with heavy anti-cheat and specialist software like fusion360 or adobe. (but it's worth trying out the alternatives!)

Mijn fusion360 abonnement weer voor een jaar verlengd. Best prijzig, maar ik klooi er wel erg veel mee. Vind het wel de moeite waard.

Here is a little something I cooked up in ##Fusion360. I bought a TV recently which is now hanged on a wall. I figured, I could re-create TV leg interface and #3dPrint the stand-offs that hold my soundbar in place. The result in comments.

I really wish I could switch to Linux as well. However, I'm a paying Fusion360 user, and that doesn't work on Linux. I'm a big advocate for open source software when practical, but unfortunately FreeCAD just isn't there yet. And while I love Blender to bits, it's not CAD.

I found a new way to #3dmodel helmets in #fusion360 Its a subtle change, but now the helmet looks llike a helmet instead of a bucket.

And it's more than just gaming. As trash as Autodesk is, I still use Fusion360 for what limited things it allows me to do with the "I'm too broke to even be a student"-tier of "free" they offer, and whether or not that would work is also a concern because I've tried FreeCAD, and... Yeah...

3DPは従来モデリングとは完全に別種の遊びかな。分けて考えると吉。
俺的には導入可能だし、興味はあるけど、障害がいくつかあって。
1.環境の構築
確かにプリンタが安くなったし、モデリングソフトも無料で使えるものもある。ただ有害なレジンを含んだ機器の置き場所がない。
2.モデリングソフトの習熟
出来るようになるにはやるしかない。しかしFusion360は途中で挫折した。もうちょい外形を直感的にいじれるやつのほうが良いかな。ただし、ただでさえプラモ弄る時間の捻出に苦労している貧乏人なので、モデリングの習熟そのものに楽しさを見出せなければ、プラモ時間を犠牲にするほどのウエイトを割けないんだよね。

自分の欲しいモノの具現化基礎講座、Fusion360やKiCad講座などいくつかニーズも聞いており、またいろいろ実現してみたいなと思いつつ。次回Vol.50は、10月26日(日)の午前中に開催予定。会場はひのでやエコライフ研究所、リペアカフェ併設となります。50回目はボロチク洋裁の先生とアメリカからConnorさんも参戦予定。節目なんで「技術の時間」のこれまでとこれからみたいな冊子でも作ろうかな・・。

Aqui a peça no onshape (passei pelo Tinkercad primeiro, pra aprender, depois desenhei um tanto no Fusion360 até a licença dele se tornar milionária, aí descobri o onshape, onde você pode desenhar, online, gratuitamente).

Imam previše softvera koji je podešen baš kak mi treba da bi mi se dalo zajebavati s full reinstallom. A Fusion360 planira prestati raditi na Win10, a treba mi. 😵
