The Son Family may have had their issues across the different iterations of Dragon Ball both official and fan made, but one of the things I tackle in this little preview of Shroud of Memories is an instance where my original version of Goku Jr goes through very severe amounts of depression. Goku and Chi-Chi have to help their son deal with these issues hence these images are used in that context. Examples being the lack of color and more shadows added as well. In this story both Chi-Chi and Goku have to deal with the idea that one of their children is going through extreme levels of depression. A very difficult thing for any parent to deal with. This image of Kid Goku is meant to represent an alternative original take on Goku Jr for this context. He is the Clone and Adopted Son of Goku, adopted by Chi-Chi, who is his adoptive mother. Him and Goten are the same age in this "universe".

In #DragonBallNewFrontier, #Goku is one of the few individuals #GokuJr can be vulnerable and open up to.

When Goku Jr is consumed by guilt, over things he's experienced, Goku always listens to his son..... Probably because he understands.....

My intention with his character was to make him the most tragic member of the #SonFamily. The reason why he doesn't want to be called hero... Is because the burden sometimes is too much to bear.

Goku Jr stood before the anomalies after defeating the last of Kakarot II's remnant forces. Their last attempt to restore everything they tried to rebuild including outer heaven, now undone. He looked and stared at the deteriorating anomalies. These timelines were being restored. Slowly, but surely.

Wrote this a little while back as a tribute in light of Akira Toriyama's passing.

It was my version of #GokuJr visiting the grave of a version of #Goku. Expressing just how much the older Goku meant to him.

Somewhere to how much Toriyama's writings meant to his fans.
