Yeah. I've been asked "you drinking?" by someone every time I join an instance with remarkable consistency this month. Raves, publics, group hangouts, anything. I tell them I don't drink and usually get an "awwww, well, cheers anyway" and then end up leaving because everyone's drunk out their minds.

This is SO relatable for me. I was a sickly teen (ate like crap & didn't sleep enough, so I got sick basically every single month) who would just continue going to school, work, dance, and hangouts. Eating well & taking care of myself as an adult means I barely get sick now, but when I do? I'm dead.

through the struggles of unsolicited dick pics and general horny men who ignored my bio entirely, i made my first irl friend since school! we didn't get to hang out much, and they had to move pretty far away back in october, but our few hangouts made me feel like a real human being.

Board game days with friends, or hangouts at local craft brewery (not bar - they do trivia nights & also have cider & soda), sometimes cool local museums or punk/rock shows (with seating - even if we stand up - because we’re too old now to leave the pit with someone else’s shoe + half a set list)

When I was younger I was excited to try out new online hangouts and new software and new technology in general whereas now I'm just tired and if I can check out some new thing (like a podcast) on something I already use (like YouTube) that's great.

Reconnected with an old highschool friend of mine this year as well!! We went to pride together in Eindhoven as well as some other hangouts in the latter half of this year! It was so good to see and talk to them again 💜

Had a TON of hangouts with my "local" online friendgroup this year!! We're from all over the country but we saw eachother a lot this year which was really nice! One honorable mention related to them coming up 👀

Same here--the two I liked most from the list were FF7 and StarCraft. I thought Zelda BOTW was cool but I just prefer the more traditional Zelda games. WoW and other MMOs are nice hangouts but the actual games tend to feel like busywork to me
