I always love a solid bolete. Leccinum scabrum aka Birch Bolete is ectomycorrhizal. There is something about them being ectomycorrhizal with one of my favorite trees that makes me smile. I've never eaten them but hear they are edible and great for stews and sauces.

Apparently on that Lepiota train. Lepiota castanea aka Chestnut Dapperling or Petite Parasol, will kill you without any guilt. She small but mighty. I can see why dapper is in their common names because I'm finding Lepiotas to be quite beautiful.
