just make sure you have a 20-series NVIDIA GPU or any AMD GPU/Intel iGPU IMO.
Friend of mine had a right game with his Intel ARC GPU and I've heard weird stuff going on with earlier/newer GPUs on the NVIDIA side.

If everything works with the iGPU but not the GPU my guess would be either something failed in the GPU or you added something that's pulling too much power and the PSU can't supply enough juice for the GPU. You could try seating the card in another slot. it's possible that slot failed

Well, guess whose computer shit the bed tonight? Not sure what it was, literally just watching a stream and my monitors blinked out. VGA light's on, the card lights up but the fans don't spin. Unplugging it and using the iGPU instead, everything seems to work, but the VGA light's still on.

intel has failed me, the igpu in my laptop has SOMEHOW in SOMEWAY got fucked up. i legit thought it was the battery saver thing cause the screen was a dim and everything was laggy too but NOPE its intels fault

Get a Galaxy Book5 Pro.
3 hours of use in 3D programs later and the battery is at 85%
Performance is at balanced but ran without any lag and smooth
Also credit to Intel for finally making a fast yet efficient processor with good iGPU

AMD iGPU 쓰는 김에, GPU에 내장된 미디어 블록 기능 좀 알아보려고 확인해봤는데
AMD는 이게 회사 문화가 그런건지, 아니면 그냥 하기 싫어서 그런건지는 모르겠다만, 뭘 만들면 문서화 좀 해라 진짜...
당장 미디어 블록의 제품명부터 VCE인지 VCN인지 UVD인지 이름도 혼돈파괴망가인데다, 어떤 제품에 어떤 미디어 블록이 들어갔는지, 버전이 뭔지, 정보가 전부 파편화 되어 있어서 일일히 찾아서 대조해야 됨

I had a similar issue with a full-size ASUS ROG motherboard, after I re-enabled the onboard iGPU (for QuickSync etc.). Ended up manually setting the dGPU as the primary display, because it got confused whenever I turned the PC on & forgot to turn the monitor on first.
