I remember liking the crunch of the icing when I was really little but they were the kind of thing my mum wouldn’t buy with any regularity. It was mostly Digestives, Rich Teas, and Shortcake in our house.

My dad has been gone for three years today and it turns out I’m still really sad about it.
We watched the Grand Prix and made a cake with his celebrated buttercream icing recipe. It was a nice day. But also it sucked. I guess this is kind of what it is now.
