Infosys had absolutely nothing to do with the Post Office. That was Fujitsu.

Outsourcing data worked in the UK goes to companies like Fujistu.

The ones behind the Horizon scandal.

Governments can directly employ the experts and don’t need parasitic scum like Fujitsu, Infosys, Oracle, or Palantir.

Tech companies don’t really care because 1) they know Cognizant/Infosys/Tata will sue to prevent the fee from going to into effect and 2) if the legal challenge fails, which it shouldn’t, they can grease the wheel to get waivers for their employees.
As the Trump administration makes changes to the H-1B visa program, tech companies may feel the effect: Amazon has had more H-1B applications approved than any other employer in recent years. Also on the list: Google, Microsoft, Apple, Meta, Oracle, Intel. www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/...

Was it Mone who received £200m in PPE Contracts through the VIP Lane. And by how much did Infosys benefit when Sunak was PM. And how many Ethics advisors resigned when Johnson was PM & why. And how many flats, which he paid no Stamp Duty on, did Hunt forget to declare. But they slur Angela again!

Also, the conclusion here is assumed -- all of these are massive companies -- a few million dollars in IT is trivial for them. Wal-Mart probably spends more on Infosys in a month.

If the ROI was that good, it would be more obvious and they'd be spending a lot more than a few bucks

oh just against refugees who can't defend themselves. they won't say anything about firms like accenture, wipro, tata, infosys shipping in cheap labour in the 100,000s to maximise their profits on Govt contracts. As ever the English LOVE to punch down

An extreme version of what Infosys Narayana Murthy usually (and persistently) advocates. I do not disagree with the basic premise that one should work hard(er) when young and able so that we are able to reap the benefits of that hard work later in life, particularly in a highly competitive 1/5

The irony is...back when I was in engineering undergrad, my friends and I used to look down on Infosys and other companies like it, because we felt they did low quality work that made you redundant quickly and these companies would keep employees idle (ie on 'bench'), deliberately.
