What happens when a language is declared a sin? When the hand itself is seen as an 'enemy'?
This is the haunting reality at the core of Annemarie Ní Churreáin’s poem, "The Language Ban"

The latest episode, an interview with Irish poet Maurice Riordan, is up now

In the interview, spoke about many of the forces that shaped his work; from stopping time to the eerie quality of Irish folklore.

He was a fabulous guest.

I don't know how or where the sudden impulse came from but I just finished the first two chapters. It's quite unexpected, different from O'Connor's way of writing in Joyride to Jupiter I've read before.
