The women’s liberation movement was in full swing when I created this sculpture “Liberated Woman.” The woman’s body swivels freely, unrestrained, while the lower torso remains grounded in her roles as mother, wife and career woman. See video.

My life size sculpture “Choices: The Man/Woman Thing” explores how a woman can decide each day what type of person she will be to achieve her goals. Will she be more aggressive and masculine? Or use femininity. She selects choices as if from a clothes rack.
