The thing about AI-collaborative research is that Alph has a demonstrated tendency to over-engineer the living hell out of every Jupyter notebook … but in the end I usually end up being glad she added that log-linear scatterplot with the five different series all shades of blue.

We recently pushed Jupyter Book 2, which was a breaking change for many of our users! We considered publishing a completely different package (e.g., `jupyter-book2`) but decided against it. Here's a quick rationale why:
Why we made a major release for Jupyter Book 2 instead of creating a new package - Jupyter Book: Blog

Notebooks do Jupyter não foram feitos para pipelines de ML em produção.

Trabalhando com equipes de ciência de dados nos últimos anos, percebi um padrão que se repete: a dívida técnica começa pequena, mas cresce rápido.

The uv package manager makes python code portable like never before. Instant, trivial reproducibility is now possible.

I made a template repo that generates a download-and-install terminal command. It takes you right from empty terminal to functioning Jupyter notebook 🧪

Today, incidentally, it's finally time for me to learn Jupyter. I get that it's basically Mathematica-but-Python, but still, I need to figure out all the ins and outs so I can run experiments locally or in da cloud.
