GLORY, HOLE (2023) an incredible short horror film from Ireland. A trans dude plans to violently confront his rapist while his friend struggles to intercede. Harrowing to watch, visually fascinating, has haunted me since. Hiram Harrington has the juice.

Paraguay has their own boogey man day today, "Karai Octubre". he's the representation of dry season, and in his bag he carries famine and hardship. so gotta eat a soup with lots of beans and mix it with any veggie and meat one can find: this is called "jopará" in Guarani

Finished Volume 3, City Fall arc. This one is intense, started really rough, got better. Uh... I dunno what Karai was thinking with Bebop and Rocksteady... But I'm just glad to see more mutants and some backstory for Alopex.

Someone liked an old deviation on my deviantart that I totally forgot about. 8 facts about Miral from 2017. Most of them are pretty outdated, so let's have a look!
Beware spoilers if you are not up to date yet (Ch. 15) #arindianodensetsu #originalcharacters

1) Miral was born in Karai, a village not far from Toaru (about 30km). Nuray's grandmother, Meina, lives there, too.
2) Miral had a brother who died a long time ago.
3) Since his brother's death, Miral has been wearing a strand of hair over his shoulder, which had been his brother's usual hairstyle.
4) Over the past 40 years, he lost faith in the Guardian elf Agenda, thus he's not allowed to teach a pupil.
5) However, Miral got Nuray as pupil, because most Guardians are fighting off Fallens, thus everyone willing to be a mentor is highly appreciated.
6) Like every other Guardian elf, he shares a close bond to his Himua, Zirkon, and wears jewelry made of Zirkon's armour (he wears a lot on his ears, boots, glooves, sword, and in his hair).
7) After Miral reached the rank of a Guardian, he and his friends formed a party to fight off Fallen. However, the party only lasted for a few years, as many members died in battle, while the rest settled down to family life, leaving Miral on his own.
8) Miral is the only Guardian elf in history entering and leaving Pelan, the swamp around Celest, unharmed - several times.

Potato and onion curry with a few cherry tomatoes, coriander, some spices etc.

Chicken gosht/karai curry with onion, coriander and a few cherry tomatoes. Cooking done. This’ll sit til served. Will stir in some natural yogurt and sprinkle fresh coriander to serve.
