They are beautiful!❤️ They look so much like annual Malva (aka Lavatera aka Rose Mallow) flowers that I have grown in the past here.

Sorry to hear your garden isn’t doing too well. Mine was doing really well but had no one to water it while we were away and some stuff has definitely suffered. Put a Lavatera in last autumn which was amazing, it’s now sad 🙄

Garden woof put up a couple trellises and planted more bulbs this morning. Now I just need my lavatera to hurry up and grow to shade the clematis roots.

My lavatera this year is GORGEOUS
Been trying to get the pink Hollyhock seeds from my mothers garden to grow here in Alaska but they just don't like the late spring and colder winters I guess. Brought some back from the high desert of N. Mexico thinking tougher but they're not doing well either. Love Hollyhocks. Settle for Lavatera.
