That’s actually one of the reasons I enjoy looking at Bluesky: it’s more regular people doing regular things and my feed isn’t absolutely dominated 24/7 by people linuxposting and/or tech talk. There’s a better balance, here.

Linuxposting for a second, I recently replaced my Kubuntu with Fedora KDE and it's great and all but it uses Wayland instead of X11 which I didn't know.
Wayland hates my art tablet. I install X11 and log in with it, and I'm just stuck on a black screen :V

linuxposting Hate that I have to write a tiny script to monitor and kick my Wi-Fi dongle driver in Linux but love that I have this capability in a time of need. I understand why normies don't see this operating system as feasible though, epitome of Some Assembly Required.

Arch Linux and its derivatives are fine, but Arch is a hobby distro
it is the Linux you use if you want to use Linux as a hobby, not if you want to get things done on your computer with Linux just being on it
