Viaduct Tavern, EC1 appears in 'Under the Net' by Iris Murdoch, the author describes a pub crawl through the area: Other pubs they visit in the area include the Magpie & Stump on Bishop's Court and The George, which was demolished in 1990

Abney Hall in #Manchester was once the home of Agatha Christie's sister (Madge) Christie stayed at the hall a great deal and wrote some of her famous stories here. The park is now public open space.

This lovely little street is Seckforde Street in Clerkenwell. Charles Dickens was a customer of the Finsbury Savings Bank on Seckforde Street and Clerkenwell is where Dodger takes Oliver pickpocketing. A house on this street recently sold for £2.2M

The Marple Hall estate in #Mancester is now a public open space. It was the family home of Christopher Isherwood, and inspiration for one of Agatha Christie's best-loved characters.
