The other question is where the Grealish vote goes in an election where he's not standing - Thomas (Ind Irl) might look like the closest match ideologically but he will be a rival for the seat and not sure how much appeal he'll have east of Lough Corrib.

Yes I see they are at near threatened on their conservation status Jimmy. This was one of two massive flocks. Sad you are not seeing many. Wonder why? The Lough and surrounding area is a nature reserve for birds. So many species.

I know. Oh I will. I know where they go Diane. Might go for a sneaky peek tomorrow. They do split into much smaller groups once they’ve arrived. They are stunning birds. Very very skittish. They did this right over the middle of the Lough and this pic was at 740mm on the lens. 🤷♂️
