It's intimidation. He doesn't have need to do it all, fear does half the job, that and turning the population against each other, convince them that marginalised communities and immigrants are the problem, the people will do his dirty work for him. Prioritise troops in states that don't comply.

Women and historically marginalised scholars remain underrepresented at senior levels. In our recent video, Michelle Doyle-Wildman calls on UK #universities to take active steps in addressing this issue.

A talk I’m excited for: Nathan Ortiz on designing for a trans perspective. Personalisation of a site or app is often presented like a simple, good thing. But when we get it wrong, it can have unexpected consequences for gender-marginalised people. Design choices can create barriers #A11yCamp2025

Scapegoat by Charlie Campbell.
Explains #Trump agenda.
"we blame as we've always blamed, targeting minority and marginalised groups when things go wrong .. technology makes it easier to spread dangerous ideas .. whatever's wrong with us, there might not be a cure, but there's aways a culprit."

It is Hasan who gains legitimacy by debating Cjarlie Kirk, not the other way around. Kirk's views have become fully legitimate andinstream while Hasan's are marginalised.

We now have fascists trying to burn down hotels housing asylum seekers for this very reason. The inevitable end result of spreading hate about a marginalised group is violence against that group.
Another example: transphobes claim that kids are being groomed into being trans and that they must be

Take for example, Chia Raichik, who, while undeniably inciting violence against marginalised people and their allies, is given cover through the stochastic nature of the violence. Despite her openly bragging about inciting her followers to send bomb threats, she has yet to face any consequences.

You're painfully naive and ignorant in a way that only someone who has no care for marginalised people and who has never faced oppression and violence can be. You would simply choose to spread his fascist views to boost your own ego.

that's what disappointed me the most. people blatantly unaware of their transmisogyny 🫠 i love the characters too but not to the extent that i'd want a marginalised individual put out of work. that is so different to a cis person who has more opportunities and you all damn well know that

I strongly disagree because I don't think people should be allowed to opt out of a world where accessibility is important, nor that we should believe that developers and their "vision" takes primacy over marginalised people being included in art.

Not mad at people mistaking Frankenstein for the monster anymore
Frankenstein IS the real monster, but the Monster, who is made of the body parts of bad and marginalised people, is villainised and is hated and abused by everyone instead of his creator (a privileged white man)

The framing of "debate" being used to push hateful views and violence against marginalised peoples is a staple of fascists like Kirk and his ilk. It's through that framing of "debate" that the human rights of a marginalised group are called into question and violence against them normalised.

If someone spreads hatred against a marginalised group, there need to be consequences for the safety of said marginalised group. The whole "debate" shit about marginalised people's human rights will always benefit the oppressor, who wishes to attack the very existence of said marginalised people

Racism and transphobia are opposite cheeks of the same arse. They both punch down targeting vulnerable minorities to ostracise them l by portraying them as dangerous. There is no one more vulnerable than someone who belongs to a marginalised group who has been deliberately mislabeled as dangerous
Transphobes don't just hate trans people, but they're generally quite shit - racists, islamophobes, shit politics, that's what they stand for
When I said our fight is one, I meant it, the same people coming after one minority also target others
Legitimate concerns need space, hate doesn’t

A class act from the @lgbtiqagreens.bsky.social committee. Hate is the same, regardless of what colour or what type of hate it is, and we should always stand hand-in-hand with fellow marginalised groups.
We are so sorry to hear of your experience, Mothin! It's an absolute shame that even in 2025, people can't let other people be. It's a damning indictment of our current political and media class that stir up hatred on the daily.
We stand in solidarity with you!

A memorable night ruined by a racist thug.
I was invited to speak at the EuroAsia Curry Awards on Monday night, it should have been an exciting opportunity. But on my way there, outside Earl’s Court station, I was subjected to an Islamophobic hate crime. I have now reported it to the police

If this plays out as suggested it will absolutely say Lib Dems and Greens are the only ones who care about this.
Labour is already proposing weakening protections under the ECHR for certain marginalised groups, but this would be a moment of abject cowardice and show Reform sets government lines.

I’m told Labour MPs have been told by whips to *abstain* in the vote on Nigel Farage’s ten-min rule bill on leaving the ECHR, which has left some furious. Whips’ arguments seems to be to just ignore it. Labour MPs worry it leaves Lib Dems/Greens looking like only they care on this.

World Championships of Warhammer has lost me due to them still being held in the US, and I hoped more people had joined the boycott, due to how the current US regime makes travelling to WCW risky for players representing marginalised groups. Though I've heard some murmurs about 2026 changing venues.
What to expect at the World Championships of Warhammer, with the current Age of Sigmar Champion - Warhammer Community
We sit down for a chat with reigning champion, Denmark’s Casper Torres Karlsmose
