#mdBook
Just published a new minor version of The Homelab Almanac. I migrated to mdbook for creation of the website version, and some improved pandocery for the PDF/EPUB. As always, new versions of the book are available for free to those who have already purchased.

I know it’s not **really** an SSG (unless you squint a bit), but mdBook does have plugins, doesn’t it?

I was using mdBook for documentation, but then I heard about Zensical and decided to try it out. It's nice, but my favorite feature is the ability to display different images for the dark and light themes! Docs: projects.annimon.com/projects/effy/

i've added a new section on resourcing teams, and why you need to have a framework for scaling.

also noticed these are getting a bit long so going to spend some time this weekend porting it to mdBook

I needed an RSS feed for my blog, but my Rust-based setup using mdBook didn’t automatically generate one. Instead of writing the code myself, I turned to ChatGPT for help creating a Rust program that could read markdown files and generate an RSS feed. Here are the results:…

For everyone following my #embedded threadzilla, I've decided to capture the contents of the thread to an mdbook, which will hopefully be easier to reference in the future. I'm calling it "Embedded: The Missing Parts". You can find it published here:

You are correct: The pre-Verso version was based on mdBook and had a print button. You can see this, for example, with Theorem Proving in Lean, which hasn't been ported to Verso (yet): lean-lang.org/theorem_prov...

I've been meaning to start cataloging all the stuff that I'd love to do as sponsored research.

I set up a silly little mdbook here, I guess I should start filling it in with all the stuff I have rattling around in my brain :)
