i didn't NEED more megapixels but i also really didn't care for the color out of it, either. the files were so weird and brittle compared to my sigma fp's

Why do we measure camera quality in megapixels? You could just upscale an image without any extra meaningful detail and inflate that number, no? And given how blurry some phone photos are when zoomed at 100% they might just do that anyways?
