As I am a grandmother, who loves to read to her grandchildren, a mother who loved to read to and with her children, and a retired teacher librarian, this meme is right up my alley.

I had both Pax and Pax, Journey Home on my TBR shelf, and decided I wanted to read them before I recommend them to my grandson. This is an interesting series set in an unknown country during the war, and then after the war ends and the land is being fixed and renewed. The books are at a reading age for 8 and up, but the themes make it more appropriate for older children.
