MobileStudio ProのWindows Updateを実行したら起動しなくなりました……。すごく、困ります。。。充電されなくなった感じなので、とりあえずケーブルを抜いて放電中。液タブを買わねば……。

There is a beta feature for using it as a traditional cintiq attached to a computer instead of an Android device, but I haven't tried it yet! So far the heat seems less than my MobileStudio.

Gonna see if I can grab a second hand Mobilestudio cause I do like all in one pc tablets that isn't Android/Mac but also I can still use my pen from the Cintiq Companion over on it.

I might even install Linux on my old MobileStudio Pro (1st Gen) since Windows 10 will be discontinued soon, and this laptop doesn't have the hardware required for Win11. So I guess now is the time to make the switch.
Just have to research if everything will work on it, including the Wacom drivers.

I'm on my 3rd Mobilestudio, but they replaced them for free, so I've been happy with their US service dept. (Disclaimer: It's *possible* (though unlikely) that I received special treatment. I've collab'd with them before, but I went thru normal service channels, not a special contact.)

The MobileStudio had some issues that would make me hesitant to invest on something at that high of a price point, but a slim sketcher at a low price point def has me intrigued!

Yes fuck Wacom. I went in in the Mobilestudio, and the battery completely died just out of warranty (1+ year?), wouldn’t charge at all. They wanted $1100 to replace the battery.

負荷をかけても見たけど、Androidだしスペックは察しの通りという感じ。
でも、ちょっとした落書きや下書きなら十分に使える気がする。
プロレベルの絵描きじゃ足りないけど、自分程度のライトな絵描きなら。
重さもタブレットにしては少し重い感じ。
でもMobileStudioを持ち歩いてたのを考えれば嬉しい重さ。
もう2,3日程度ネットの声を見てみて、
妥協ラインなら買いたいかな。

He draws by hand, no ai! he works on iPad Pro and a Wacom mobilestudio pro. (I would not buy any young person at student level these devices! He would be learning on same devices most use at student level. it does not take all that to learn. He uses pro grade, because I had them, and gifted to him.)
