We have evidence:

- Visible mold samples (petri dishes showing massive growth in hours)

- Federal court docket (public record)

- 300 days police obstruction documented

checking in on other coffee roasters about their transparency efforts. [redacted] has a mycotoxin lab test that appears to be the exact same test for all their SKUs, likely engineered to keep these people off their backs which honestly feels even more dishonest than the grifters on this front.

For example, after moving out of an apartment, I asked about mycotoxin tests, just to have evidence on hand that said place fucked up my lungs. The med student joining the appointment? Was really excited by the idea.

And was visibly disappointed my doctor waved it off.

The Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)—aka the “mono” virus—can also trigger Myalgic Encephalomyelitis Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (MECFS) and is a risk factor for Multiple Sclerosis.

COVID-19 infection is one of the things that can trigger the reactivation of EBV (others include mold or mycotoxin exposure).
🦠NEW: Scientists just confirmed that the “Mono” virus can trigger and sustain lupus — something researchers had suspected for decades, but only based on anecdotal evidence.

My story for @sciam.bsky.social 🧪
The Virus That Causes Mono May Also Cause Lupus
Early findings indicate that Epstein-Barr Virus may also cause the autoimmune disease lupus

So interesting as I was just writing about this recently due to unbearable brain inflammation of late and precious concussions as a child and also the feeling since covid-19 infections. Im considering private scans at some point as worrying me more due to mycotoxin exposure too. Thanks for sharing 💙

New reading thread because it’s fun and why not. Why not! What the heck.

Starting my post-marathon reading with a long overdue reread. (My brain is still mushy, like it’s been soaked in a Russian mycotoxin…but you gotta start somewhere.)

Ophiocordyceps unilateralis (aka The Last of Us mushroom) produces mycotoxin to change the behaviour of its host, but there are fungi and molds much closer to us that produce mycotoxins.

That's why I always smile to myself when the conversation crops up.

it's not ideal and unfortunately EM1 itself won't kill the mold if just sprayed on it. but it does neutralize as much mycotoxin in the air as it can if sprayed a lot. so I hope i can eventually colonize my shower with friendly bacteria... don't tell Ross.
