Many effects to process. Could start with this one: the newspaper Nikkei Shinbun ran a simulation of the October 2024 Lower House election. Without electoral support from Soka Gakkai vote-gatherers, the LDP would have garnered 20% fewer seats than their already dismal minority government result.

Illustrating my point - the loss of Komeito is a massive blow to the LDP's seat count in an upcoming election. Conservatives here might think they can make up those seats by becoming a more ideologically-coherent party, but Tamaki, Ishin, and the rest aren't terribly good at vote-getting
