I'll bite. I've done Arch and NixOS. Preffered Nix because I could see in one document what I had installed and configured. NixFlakes terrify me to all hell.

Man, #nixflakes make normal things unnecessarily hard:

- git submodules
- #gitannex tracked files
- files from a git smudge filter in general
- always this stupid architecture you have to carry around (x86_64-linux et al.)
- more stuff to remember (ah, it's `legacyPackages` now, alright...) […]

Nix me gustó mucho, a veces extraño la simplicidad de asdf - al cual contribuí como cuatro años - pero ambos tienen pros/cons. Me gustaría algo tan facil como asdf pero con nixflakes debajo.

Finally, everything is aarch64-darwin native on M1, I'm using nixFlakes + nix-darwin + homemanager - except for haskell packages (but a PR is waiting merge) - thanks to @domenkozar and all people who made possible!
