The Aronofsky 1776 AI thing looks terrible. The devil's in the details--there's no nuance, no subtle artistry, no myriad of aesthetic choices being made in real time by actual human performers. Art is infinitely complex and it needs people. Not machines creating dead-faced marionettes. Fuck AI.

Recently I have been using Clip Studio to pose 3D models that I can trace to get my anatomy mostly correct (I know...I’m a dirty 3d model tracer😔). I don’t use 3d models for every drawing however!

No, the issue of people getting a quick buck and not delivering what was promised is HARDLY new, but I feel that AI stuff in particular is a bit more insidious. As a largely art-driven community, we tend to look up to our artists, so when someone turns out to be a phony, it hits kinda close to home.
