a now scrapped omega monster, designed by a friend and sprited by another friend. (this was before Kyle joined on as the monster designer.)

might use this creature down the road for some other project, who knows.

I wanted to do something similar to a Professor Oak-type character, but with a much different personality. A strong mentor that can help push the narrative forward, explain things, etc.

here's some old footage of Omega Monsters, back when we were working on a N64-inspired game.

I digitally sculpted everything to create prerendered sprites. the scope of the project was too big at the time, so we switched gears and began working on a Gameboy Color game instead.

Kyle also redesigned pyrodactyl's evolution, "Pyranodon"

Initially these monsters were going to be gigantic (the size of an actual pterosaur), but I think we're going to make them a little larger than your average Charizard, which are much smaller.
