You are lost in the sauce, Amy, à la Farkas.

or the one that is "touching the skull, base of the spine or wherever" that's supposed to be able to help with fucking whatever apparently, is "based" on the biodynamic practices and osteopathy and it is apparently important to mention in all the websites that you're supposed to stay clothed

You might find myotherapy and/or osteopathy useful.
I find myotherapy fantastic for my back, glutes, etc. Mind you, I have a footy club myotherapist - bloody fantastic! 😁

Eno diary, 17 Oct 95: "new osteopath for my shoulder pain. Nice man but talks like a hairdresser non-stop, about things that don’t really interest me...you'd imagine he would be keen to have you relax. Osteopathy is pretty minimalistic - couple of cracks, a lift & you're off, several quid lighter."

Thanks. It was 30yrs ago so I dealt with it myself back then. But my DinL is now 6mths pregnant and the memories are re-emerging. My dist. nurse said the damage and ensuing infection I suffered were some of the worst she'd ever seen. And our 10lb son needed osteopathy.
So this news is pretty grim.

The osteopathy was good today. I have cancer, arthritis & a bulging disc all in the lower spine. A bit sore you could say! Yes, I'm hoping to get tickets for the Brighton game 🤞

Not all people use My Aged Care for home services though. Mine is all used for allied health: osteopathy, myotherapy, physio, etc.

DOs and MDs pretty much do the same stuff now, anyway. The osteopathy route has basically just turned into allopathic medicine with a hint of osteopathy.

Bruh…it’s right there in his name…he’s a DO - Doctor of Osteopathy, which is not the same as a DC - Doctor of Chiropractics.

They were a doctor of Osteopathy, they signed (DO) after their name.
They weren't an MD.
I expect they never mentioned that in the article either.

This was going to get prickly. The fact is, though, that it is relevant for the whole “RFK Jr. ignoring science debate”, to point out osteopathy is a belief, not medical science. I will trust a DO to make solid medical decisions, but not to render a scientific opinion unless they renounce the O.

*uses medical marjuana as an example of why DO’s practice pseudoscience then says he doesn’t have any issues with that.*
Do you mind not shitting on my equally trained colleagues? Yes there isn’t scientific support for osteopathy. Many DO’s realize this a discard the practice.
