I have always felt that, in part, Brexit was a backlash to the joy, diversity and success of the best Olympics and ParaOlympics ever, by the rest of England. A mixture of resentment and hatred for a true multicultural and inclusive event.. For me, 2012 was the high water mark of post WW2 Britain.

Sports are already segregated. Male/Female. Olympics/ParaOlympics. Unless we merge them all then I don't think a separate (but equal) category is out of the question.

I only managed to find highlight reels from the last Paraolympics but apparently 46 countries have leagues as of 2022.
