Big up to new #oxc contributor @arsh.sh, who showed up out of nowhere and is tearing through our issue list! He's just implemented support for all the comment-based APIs in Oxlint JS plugins. github.com/oxc-project/...
feat(linter/plugins): comment-related APIs by lilnasy · Pull Request #14715 · oxc-project/oxc
Part of #14564. Implement the remaining SourceCode APIs related to comments (getCommentsBefore, getCommentsAfter, getCommentsInside, commentsExistBetween).

If I were to make an html page for a portfolio site, would that really be so bad? Looking at all these Wordpress plugins while brain is not so braining is haaaaard. I'm not really sure what they offer besides a new learning curve.

Also, before the Linux comments arrive.
I use Linux, both in VMs and as the base OS on some of my machines in the lab here.

I cannot edit videos, run a DAW with my favorite plugins, control my cameras, etc, etc in Linux.
I wish I could.

LET'S STOP GATEKEEPING GAME DEVELOPMENT.

I love RPGMaker.

I love community based code.

I love plugins.

I love open source music.

I love creative Commons sound effect libraries.

I love when people use stock art and assets creatively.

Stop hating on people for being beginners.

I find it telling that there are YouTube plugins for "getting rid of e-begging," referring to creators advertising their patreons, sponsors, etc. And like. Blocking the ad spam on there I get. But 'e-begging?' Because they want to keep doing the thing you're going out of your way to watch???

Paint .NET is my go-to image editing software for mouse-based art in general. It's simple but has enough functionality (especially with plugins) that it does what I need.

GraphicsGale has much better tools for managing limited palettes, but also has a bit of a crusty UI.

…any of the ‘cleaning’ tools I have, so I finally caved and dropped $50 on this waves plug. I saw an engineer clean drums off a live vocal using it at Maida Vale before and was sold then but just remembered it.

It FULLY fixed this issue. No noise, clean podcast.

Also, UAD have a current offer where you can buy 10 plugins for $100. I’m kind of over buying more plugins, but I filled a lot of holes in my mixing basket here for not much money.

its great when video games tell you how many mods/plugins you have loaded in a little corner of your window when booting up because inevitably i will always go "jesus, that many? let me uninstall some" and then i realize oh no actually i Need these

Monetization (1/3) – we liked the idea of a reduced barrier to entry with a "try before you buy" model and this approach requires a paywall with in-app purchase plugins. the recommended android plugin worked out of the box, well maintained by @syntaxerror247.bsky.social: github.com/godot-sdk-in...

Context for my unhinged CMake skeets:

I’m working on some PRs for Toyota’s Flutter embedder (ivi-homescreen) and I rewrote the way plugins are handles.
Previously you could only have one set of plugins, but now you can include multiple “plugin libraries” at build time (a #FlutterDev 🧵)

Ouuuugghhh i am a fool. i didn't realize community plugins you install for your local obsidian instance wouldn't translate to obsidian publish. so now i have a bunch of custom markdown stuff (tooltips) that look super cool on my computer and then they're just bald text strings on the site lol

plugins for implementing 2FA, admin panel, statistics (like altq.net/status.html), account creation captcha/rate limits/bot detection, microcosm pocket instance, etc would be awesome quick drop-in addons for the PDS (lucky that gatekeeper already handles two-ish of those!)
