Still sick with Covid. (Day Eight! I wanna die!) I have resorted to pointalism to soothe the mind and pass the time. This is unbelievably slow, and harder than you'd imagine to control the colours.

Proportions ~28.5 x 20.5 cm
At 12 years old I suffered paralysis from the neck down. Eventually having to rely on my non-dominant hand. I struggle holding implements and this piece is built up of layeds of dots and marks with charcoal

It’s great! Fun moment for me that I don’t know if you intended is that when it’s mentioned the mom had business rivals murdered, I think “is she saying this casually because they’re too powerful to face consequences, or, given the casual pointalism death, is there just no murder taboo here”

For some reason, when you search post-impressionist, the same three well-known names keep coming up, but little more.
And they shifted fairly freely within their styles, like Matisse's fauvist work and Seurat's pointalism, plus synthetism, cloisonnism, Nabis, neo-impressionism, Pont-Aven School.

was experimenting with a new style of coloring to try and capture some of that pointalism stuff that was in older comic printing systems, but with some diversity to the sizes of the points. Not really sure how i like how this turned out, but not sure how i'd adjust it
