I'd recommend checking out fictionkin resources and folks for resources and stuff if you feel that'd be useful to you, that's the more common term used for folks who identify as fictional species + characters! i was at a university where there was a doctorate program where those attending it focused on like the sociological impacts of pokemon and basically every single person in the program including me was pokemonkin. A DOCTORATE KIN DREAM

im losing my mind because i had an otherkin dream, but not like me as an animal in the woods or whatever, but like literally a dream where i was human-shaped and pokemonkin and meeting other pokemonkin friends. AND I WAS IN ACADEMIA

im being so frrrrrrrr i feel so much less alone with how many folks have the otherkin and pokemonkin labelers onnnn yall r so cooool

the funny thing was before active bluesky use i was all "i mean i MIGHT be a therian, but not much..." and now im like "Okay so im a therian (my theriotype is a fox btw) and im an otherkin (spesifically pokemonkin) and i kin braixen, vulpix, zorua, and all the eeveelutions (other than flareon)"
