2/ Let's be clear: If the postmark date does not align with the date in which the mail piece was first received, then it's not a "postmark date." Postmarks no longer have any meaning. And that would be as true for tax returns or other time sensitive items as it is for ballots.

A new item for my Japanese philatelic collection. It is a postal stationery with a peculiarity that I have never seen before. The original postmark was covered over and the card was re-stamped.The new postmark appears to be genuine due to the impression. I hope I am able to determine the postmarks.

I DID IT. I only had 2 #glitch apps I cared about but I'm off glitch now. Both now on digitalocean with caddy as my reverse proxy and pm2 running the app.

As snowbirds, just got back to Arizona
After 6 months in Olympia WA
Our neighbor collects our mail in till we get back.
I noticed while sorting mail that more than half the envelopes had NO postmarks
hard to tell when sent without opening & the posts for date

In 2000, a number of late ballots arrived purportedly from U.S. Navy ships at sea that did not have postmarks. Bush team argued for their acceptance since some ships do not have postmarking capability and unfortunately Gore did not contest. A Naval officer friend did not believe the Bush argument

The USPS delivery of mail positively sucks, but still, if they are postmarked timely, then they should be counted... even the IRS recognizes "postmarks" for tax payments, tax returns that are paper-filed, etc.

.@sabrina_schnur, is there corroborative evidence that supports the idea that the ostensible letters to Paddock were written before the attack and not composed after the attack? Are there envelopes with postmarks?
