Got my first issue of @apwot.bsky.social. The cover’s by one of my favourite artists (blurring_my_day), and I can’t remember ever seeing such good graphic design and printwork together. It’s big and thick too, more like a book than a magazine. Expectations exceeded!

LoLK is ultimately like "these are two bad things happening, stop one for the other" whereas WBaWC tries to be murky about the nature of who and what. I feel stuff like the former just seems to work better for the POV of the game protags; the things WBaWC tries feel better suited for a printwork

I been thinking about how Lotus Eater's chapter covers always features rain in its rain chapter when other Touhou printwork usually put rain to the aside for their main topic. It gives Lotus Eater a drafting feeling from up the buildup on rain.

Hmn, interesting. There's a new listing for A Touhou Printwork, 東方幻存神籤 Whispered Oracle of Hakueri Shrine. This appears to be the fortune telling book that was previously mentioned last December. The book is scheduled to release on the 1st of April 2025.

nah i 100% get it, i had to force myself to start drawing on 3000x3000 canvases eventually myself when i hit a similar reality... i feel for you tho!! i hope you can find a solution that works for ya there, i know your printwork would absolutely bang 😭
