It didn't rain. It was wonderful and too crowded and filled with people who believed in what they were doing. And my mother in the wheelchair started to weep with joy twice. It was worth everything when she shouted "we're not alone" back at me.

just to be clear we need you all to understand that our ten year old self was basically freeform attempting Shaolin monk style body control to attempt to learn to start fires with our mind. we trained by working to warm our body by willpower by taking off layers to sit in the cold rain and focus.

Over 5,000 friends and strangers gathered in the rain in Bellingham, WA (pop. 98,000)! Inspiring speakers, at least a dozen tables of resources, and great live and DJ music with lots of dancing. I feel a bit hopeful again. 😍

Drove out to Forks to read our vows to each other in front of the entire Pacific Ocean, forecast said it was going to rain but it was dumping ass the entire time lmao. Absolutely worth it.
