Autodesk's Recap was my photogrammetry tool of choice until Autodesk's licensing policies became unreasonable. More recently, I used RealityCapture and was very pleased with the results.

In addition to the 3D scanned figures themselves, almost all of the props and scenery in this video are real objects as well!
For this video a real diorama and other set pieces were built by hand and then scanned into the animated scenes.

RealityCapture has updated to RealityScan with improvements to the alignment algorithms, so I tested on photos of the TOS restoration workshop.
I think its an improvement over the previous version

Again Agisoft Metashape gave better results than RealityScan (which RealityCapture is called now, apparently), and was able to combine image sequences from these two together. As it is I just slammed the RS E and W end outputs together

More I look at this the RealityCapture model has its perks over Metashape one.

Trial on Agisoft (n.b. Russian) Metashape ran out so trying some alternatives. These are Dorchester Abbey all with same input (two separate drone videos).
Meshroom - bobbins
Reality Capture - not bad, but...
Metashape (which I can still run but not save/export) - ...still the best unfortunately.
