ADHD sucks for obvious reasons, but I think an overlooked facet of it is how pervasive undiagnosed ADHD is, and the statistically linked behaviors that go with it (likelihood of substance abuse, frequency of job losses, feelings of inadequacy because of a lack of supports, RSD, etc.), and fallout...

do not let the vilest parts of humanity sour your love of this world and its people. There are far more beautiful and amazing people in this world than not.

Imagine a political discourse where the primary virtue the ability to hold multiple perspectives in mind. A citizen practicing this would not seek to win a debate, but to understand. They would operate from the principle that "the other side's reality is also real to them for valid reasons."
