Gave up on trying to make my own frame synchronizer, time to pick up some gear to Genlock & Wordclock my studio properly. For live streaming lossless audio (no resampling) with video, turns out it's much easier if everything just follows the same reference. eBay to the rescue.

If you haven't seen it, Music Media Helper 8 is a cracking piece of free software for mucking around with video and music files. Converting, splitting, joining, tagging, adding playlists, resampling, you name it.

wait so CNN is doing longitudinal cohort polling instead of resampling? I'm no elections expert but just based on my grad school research methods classes strikes me as a weird methodology-- less noisy perhaps, but it locks in your initial bias and random sampling can't save you.

One of our results in doi.org/10.1002/qj.3... was that the relationship between the S-G pattern & stratospheric heat flux is biased low at longer lead-times, i.e. even if S-G correctly forecast in troposphere, the deceleration of the vortex would be smaller than in reality. This fits recent fcsts
