Red Dirt Ruin pgs 14-15/20, final published edition!

Bit delayed sharing, but with the Itch io chaos and going on comics retreat it's been a week lol

A comic page shows Rita panicking while Josey falls and attempts to catch her. Rita grabs Josey's hand but it slips out and she keeps falling while Rita screams out "Nooo!" Josey however reassures Rita, saying she has an ace up her sleeve as she teleports away with a power she harnesses from inside herself. A comic page. Josey reappears next to a door saying it was a close call and Rita runs to hug her. Scared to lose her again, Rita hugs tight and Josey offers to put the adventure on hold. Rita agrees until they see something that makes then question a lot.

Page 10 of the comic Red Dirt Ruin. Josey runs in concern for Rita after hearing them scream goddammit, but turns out Rita is just disappointed in how gutted the shuttle ship is. Josey then explains she scanned to find no disturbances for 700 Martian years. Page 11 of the comic Red Dirt Ruin. Josey goes on an infodump on her theories of the arrival of the Adimasians to Mars and how she's been looking hard, but then gets self conscious and shrinks herself down. Rita encourages her to Josey's internal panic as they realize the door to the inside of the ship is sealed and may be in better condition. Page 12 of the comic Red Dirt Ruin. Rita & Josey break open the door and notice the ship's decks are completely crumbled, leaving only the outer edges to their fright. Page 13 of the comic Red Dirt Ruin. Josey notices a door that has electrical traces open, and directs Rita to stay safe while she leads. Rita argues saying they care about Josey too but gets cut off by a loud crack and Josey falling through the floor.

Panel 1: A big "KRAASH" sound rings as Rita utters "Ow..." in the dark. Panel 2: Still dark, Josey asks "You packed the lights, right?" and Rita responds "Yup. Down in the big pocket, love!" as Josey unzips and ruffles through the backpack. Panel 3: Three sci fi lights launch out and turn on as Rita and Josey look up and Josey says "There we go!" Panel 4: A large zoomed out view of the spaceship hanger, with dust, wires, broken shuttles and holes with both Rita and Josey saying "Wow, it's so..."ER ACTU Panel 5: Josey looks up confused and says "...empty?" and Rita looks excited and says "...Massive! Ohmygod we're actually in a real alien hanger!" Panel 6: Rita leans over to look at the broken shuttle and with a giddy look says "Oooh! What could this be?! A comic page. Panel 1: Excited Rita looking into this small spacecraft babbling questions Panel 2: Josey looks over to a squeeing Rita with love and says she'll look around for clues. Panels 3 and 4: Josey says "now then.." while she takes off her googles and opens a clip. Panel 5: Josey looks around, bewildered by how empty the hanger is and why thats the case. Panel 6: Josey scans around to see there's organic matter to process with her "omniclip" Panel 7: Josey is surprised by the results. Panel 8: Josey gets scared when she hears a loud "Goddammit!"

Panel 1: Rita looks up with a surprised expression while pulling down their dust bandana and saying "Whoa: Panel 2: A large panel angled up showing Rita & Josey looking up at massive bay doors with visible damage. Rita says "I know we did some bold crap as kids, but doesn't seem like you to just be casually running around massive ruins." Josey responds "Never like this. What I check out are house sized at most. This is way out of my league..." Panel 3: Josey is looking up and continuing to speak "and now that we're here, It's a lot more intimidating than I mentally prepared for!" Rita also is looking up by Josey's side with a worried look and "Gulp" showing above their head. Panel 1: Rita looks up with a worried look "Alright Rita, mental check-in time. We're completely in over our heads with this adventure." Panel 2: Rita's worry grows as they put their hands on the side of their heads and says "Our planet only just reached the moon a few years ago, and yet I'm here on a living Mars about to step on an alien spaceship!" Panel 3: A close-up of Rita's actively panicking face saying "We're not even here for some grand purpose, just for kicks and to find cool space junk! What the actual goddamn hell and i doing?!" Panel 4: Rita clenches their fist and slaps their face "That's it, pull yourself together! I've faced wild and risky things just fine before, why freak out now? Especially for a once in a lifetime thing like this! Besides, I'm with my absolute best friend who's done this a million times! As long as we're together, we got this! ...I hope..." Panel 1: Rita stands giving a thumbs up while holding Josey's hand and winking saying "Ready to conquer this, Josey? I'm pumped, and it'll be a piece of cake for an expert like you!" Panel 2: a close of Josey's worried mouth expression with a tear going down her face Panel 3: Rita gets yoinked by Josey and is surprised Panel 4: Josey hugs Rita tight crying out of worry and says "Think we can do this?! I'm really freaking out and don't wanna hurt you cuz of my stupid idea!" Panel 5: Rita looks at Josey and says "Yeah we got this! The two of us can pull through anything! Plus id we really are about to bite it, you got thay ace up your sleeve." Meanwhile they're thinking "She's panicking too?! Aaaaaaugh!" Panel 1: Josey, looking determined while wipping away tears says, "You're right! We've been through hell and back, we're tough enough to face the unknown together! Just... give me a moment to fully calm down before I panic attack us back to Earth!" Meanwhile Rita is laying her head face down on Josey's shoulder giving a thumbs up muttering "I'm glad one of us is reassured" Panel 3: they gently hold hands Panel 4: Josey raises a fist to her chest, looks to Rita, and says "I think I'm good now. All set to dive head first into adventure?!" and Rita replies "Let's do this!" Panel 5: Still holding hands, they leap forward and head to the spaceship yelling "No Turning Back Now!"
