The early part did suffer from the "ml looks older than his actual age as a teen while fl looks like a regular teen even though they're literally the same age—" art trope I genuinely hate, but still. It's better than 90% of the 'romance' on romfan webtoon.

I think it’s because Manta started off as an all-ages platform and mostly het-romance /romfan stories cater to a more general audience while BLs are mostly mature (not all, but like 3/4? more or less lol) so licensing BLs was harder esp since they censored so much. Now, that they are doing

Genuinely hate reading comments of romfan webnovels because the comments are like "OMG THE ML IS SO HOT" when
1. He's a basic black haired, white twink boy with unrealistic abs

I saw people counting the shoujos they’ve read and that’ll take me a hot minute since I have to cross check the titles and magazine
