Etone would definitely have started with a Chespin on her journey that grows with her but I wasnt really feeling any of chespin or chesnaught's cards, and Quilladin gets even less love so there we go. Bright eyed bushy tailed that ends up becoming a big ol protective anchor for her squad.

this is Sendag, they are a lot of things but primarily they are an [angel], a component in my crazy little headworld that's mostly my justification as using them as player characters in different games

Most anyone who knows Brisant would probably assume as a trainer he'd be a Steel type specialist. You'd be correct but those who REALLY know him would know his actually ace and buddy would be a big cranky bird, so what better than Fearow?

if Sendag [and Arde, if I ever draw him] are [angels], MG is a [faerie]. He takes the path of least resistance with his duties, but his dominion over "keeping things where they're supposed to be" covers unexpected territories, like information or even emotions if he gets the right in.

This one took some thinking but H.Decidueye suits Flint pretty well as a solitary nomadic creature built for surviving harsh climates. I was thinking Alolan Marowak too but you know me and weird birds

this isn't accurate because he's supposed to have a broken armblade, and a human face and hands. I saw Magnamalo and thought he was the dumbest thing on the planet with the shittiest lore ever so I went "I'm just gonna make you a big dumb jock instead"
