not having access to books where i live is half cool because it means i just pirate ebooks to read on a kindle and therefore save so much money but i miss the smell of a paperback and i cant wait to live in a city where i can go to secondhand bookshops again

eight foot long secondhand couch: $40 at salvation army, 2008. definitely the best investment i ever made in living room furniture. five of the six rescue dogs can sardine together on chilly eves. ❤️🐾dog six is truly just too big unless he gets up there first to claim it entirely to himself🤣

...see a positive direction towards smoking and alcohol reduction in consumption too. Secondhand smoke causes cancer, and alcohol sometimes leads to violence and unwanted pregnancies. This is probably an unpopular opinion though.

She was born in 2017 so she’s been going to protests her whole life. In 2020 we got a secondhand playmobil car and she told me the first place she was going to drive it was to go to “a pwotest.” But it can’t hurt to reiterate why we take to the streets, and how protests work as tools for organizing.
