I. the kiss the Kiss is what binds us from start to finish. i can no longer tell where i begin and where you end— but it's all i've ever known. just like the sun that never rises any higher than the black towers, just like the sea that no longer exists. and now what we (used to) have becomes the absence of space in between. II. anomaly there are ghosts down there, you know? monsters, the kind you never want to see in your lifetime. the rumours are true. it’s all real. they look like you and me, and yet— there’s something wrong with them ( bright neon purples and pinks shades of soft blues and sharp greens tattoos that glow under black light branded on human skin but that doesn’t make them one of us. ) III. wanderlust we met when nothing else mattered in the world. our lives collided like a tragedy a daydream, a nightmare. waiting to happen when least expected. the road i’ve traveled is lonely, quiet. met new faces, but i barely remember them. it wasn’t so bad when you were here— but now you’re so far away from me out of reach. IV. warchild one way or another, we’ll make it to a destination we didn’t know we had. regardless of the tragedies, the nightmares, the good and the bad. when synthetic words matter more than your organic heart &soul when things can be torn apart by artificial lines, man-made disasters— it makes me wonder. was what we had even real?
