The US has created modern day concentration camps & described them as ICE facilities. It has not, yet, created extermination camps.

What makes you think that the bigotry of French anti-Semitism will be confined to Jews? Typically, anti-Semites are bigots as to other groups. For instance, the Nazis also persecuted the Sinti, gay people, and the disabled. Excusing one type of bigotry makes other types of bigotry more likely.
