𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘃𝗲 - 28,254 soil samples in glass jars, dating back to 1939, forming a vitally important baseline to Aoteaoroa NZ soils research & mapping. Samples were collected before topdressing became common, before nuclear testing, and before microplastics.

Seismic tech for widescale soil surveys - We have to get high throughput data into agricultural systems -sensors working at scale => tweak use of fertilisers, water, crops for max output with less inputs, less area, preserving soil. Gardeners would love it too #PlantScience #SoilScience 🌱🌳🌾🪴
